Spam Filter Basics

The spam filter runs seamlessly out of the box, but sometimes there is a need to make adjustments to the emails unwantedly getting blocked. Here we will show you how to log in and do some basic tasks within the spam filter's backend.

There is no need to create mailboxes in the filter. The system will automatically detect email accounts on your domain and create a filter mailbox to suit. Once the filter mailbox is complete, the individual email account holder can log in and manage their filter.

Before an email user can log in, they can create a password for their filter account. Visit https://login.antispamcloud.com/retrievelogin.php

View Quarantined Emails

To view quarantined emails, move to the "Protection" section in your dashboard. Click the "Spam quarantine" icon,  and here are all the current quarantined emails. Query rules allow you to filter the results of the quarantined emails. An example of using the query rules may be an email you're expecting from a specific sender that is currently blocked.

In the first field under "Query Rules", select "Sender".
In the second field under "Query Rules", select "Contains".
In the Third field under "Query Rules", type the sender's email address.

Release from Quarantine

Within the quarantine list, you can release emails. All emails in the quarantined list have a dropdown actions menu on the left-hand side. Release an email from the quarantine list by selecting "Release from quarantine" in the actions dropdown menu. You will receive the email only this time. If you wish to continue receiving emails from the selected sender, you will need to add the sender to your "allow list".

Adding Senders to Allow List

If you wish to receive mail from a particular sender regardless of the
message content, you should add it to the allow list. You should only do
this when you know that the sender will verify their address and will
only ever send legitimate safe content

Move to the "Protection" section in your dashboard. Click the "Sender Allow List - incoming" icon. On this page, all the current allowed senders' will show. Add a new sender by clicking "Add sender to allow list".

  • You have the option to check only the "envelope" sender, the sender address that is in the "From" header, or both.
  • To add all addresses at a domain to the allow list, add the domain name
without a leading "@" (e.g. for all senders with addresses @example.com,
    add "example.com").
  • To add an entire top-level domain to the allow list, use "*" as a wildcard (e.g. for anything from .nl, add "*.nl").
